Fashion Styles – When Trends Just Come and Go

Fashion style is one of the many things that changes in just a short period of time. One moment people are going crazy over colored skinny jeans, tomorrow they will be craving for designer rolling briefcases and apparel. The thing there is, people may change their preferences on certain pieces of fashion, but definitely, all of them will always go back to the basic.
Fashion is a never-ending cycle. What is in now may come from long time ago, just making their appearance visible once again. If you can remember it right, super-skinny jeans are people’s favorites like twenty years ago. But before that, bell-bottoms dominated the market. Compare everything to the present situation. The craze for skinny jeans is back, but actually, four years ago, every single kid on the block has a pair of bell-bottom jeans. And If truth be told, the same cycle will be repeated for the next years to come.
Let us go to the cycle of bags. During the 90′s, girls are going gaga over shoulder bags to use when shopping. They come in different colors, accompanied with very long bag straps that can go all the way to your legs. These changed when teenagers as well as young professionals are starting to sport the new star-hand bags and purses. It stayed for quite sometime making the handbag designers filthy rich because some of these can be quite expensive to put it mildly. Years after the fad, shoulder bags are slowly dominating the scene once again.
Even men, who are generally not fond of these apparels, are going the trend as well. From the hand-held briefcases and file organizers, rolling briefcases can also be seen around. Briefcases for men are designed especially for the male population so they can have a trend of their own without having to go with the women’s choices. It will only take a not so long time before the original fad would have to go back.
Shoes are undergoing some rapid changes as well. Some may be patterned to the old school shoes, yet some are evolving into different pieces. With heels that can go as high as 4 inches and even beyond (with the help of platforms), even women who lacks height can solve that issue.
Apparels are also taking a few flashbacks. The past years may be filled with mostly blacks and whites and other non-loud colors, but the past few years, apparels are all about colors going from green, to purple, to hot pink or fuchsia, sunshine yellows, reds among others-the trademark of the year 1990′s.
Fashion styles are never stagnant. In just a couple of years or less, the trend that you thought would last for a very long time will just disappear right before your eyes and will be overthrown by the new kid on the block. It is only a matter of how long will it survive the dynamic surroundings of the fashion world, and will it even leave a mark in the scene, or will it be just another fashion faux pas.

Fashion – Find Your Individual Style
We all want to show our individuality off to the world. Each person has their own personality, and it is fun to let this peek through in clothing that suits who you are. We dress for success professionally but this doesn’t always let us be ourselves.
When we dress appropriately for our work environment, this may limit our clothing choices. There are generally only a handful of people who are so comfortable with themselves that they fully dress to reflect their tastes and personalities.
Clothing is not the only way to show the world who you are. Another way is through your hair style. This is true for men and women. Get the right cut, and it can reflect your personality. It can become a symbol of who you are.
Better still, your hair is always with you unlike, say, your favorite jacket. You have your hair whether you are going on a date or going for an interview. It’s an easy way to telegraph your personality regardless of the setting.
You can still dress appropriately for your workplace and profession and be an individual if you choose your hairstyle carefully.
Maybe you need to be conservative, or just want to be conservative because that is your style. If that is the case, you can still make the most of your hairstyle by having your hair cut at a higher end salon. You’ll get a great quality hair cut and the quality will show.
Americans are not known as fashion trendsetters. Still, you want to make the best first impression you can, and your hair style is a big part of this. Investing in yourself, especially in something so obvious and always-present as your hair style, is a good idea.
Spend a little more for a fantastic cut at a quality salon. This tells others that you know your worth and that you have a professional, quality, polished image regardless of the setting you are in.
Fashion Style – Granny Chic to Look Young
After the vintage style and oldies taken over the trend and catwalks of the world, looks like an old woman style is ready to look young again. Several years ago, if someone is wearing a 70s dress, people will surely look with weird stare and called it ‘ancient’. However, once catwalks bring back this style. The word ‘ancient’ was turned into ‘vintage’ and the whole world affected by this trend.
Dress small floral knee-length, with belts and sunglasses are the same width back to be a trend. Even those who have quite fashionable mother can smile because of the clothes, and accessories appear to be their mother’s vintage. This time, the world’s hottest catwalks present various granny-chic styles as a trend for autumn and winter 2010.
What is distinctive of a grandmother? Glasses, it helps the already blurred vision. You will need oldies-style glasses to look like grandma; one with width and thick-rimmed, black or brown. Finally, choose accessories that are not too big, just small to medium sized; simple but beautiful enough to be admired! Avoid contemporary and modern design, of course. Remember, a grandmother usually does not use an excessive amount of accessories. A pair of earrings, one to two rings, necklaces and bracelets and a watch is enough. You can be stylish with granny chic if you are creative in mix and match.
